On behalf of the Scientific and
Organizing Committees, I am pleased to invite you attend the
2nd
DISEC including HPLC 2011 Dalian & 18th NSEC,
which will be held in Dalian, China in October 2011.
HPLC 2011 Dalian & 18th NSECwill will be comprised of plenary and
keynote lectures, oral lectures, prominently featured poster
presentations, and the largest, most comprehensive display
of commercial products. The wide-ranging vendor exhibition
will include many companies showing their latest innovations
in separation science and related areas. The scope of the
symposia comprise advancements in all types of separation science.
Dalian
Dalian
is a major port
of northeastern China and a trading gateway for all of
northern China. Declared a Coastal Open City in 1984, and is
now the third largest port in China. It is home to major
shipyards, oil refineries, diesel engineering plants, and
factories for textile and chemical products.
It is not all trade and industry however. The cultural
legacy left by years of foreign invasion and colonialism is
still evident today in architecture dotted around the city.
Most conspicuous of all however, especially to the modern
visitor, is the wealth and cosmopolitan atmosphere here.
This is a clean, modern, rich and sprawling city that
appears to be looking forward with optimism to the future.
Dalian World Expo Center, an exhibition hall with integrated
service of exhibition, conference and performance, is one of
Dalian's symbol buildings with the grand momentum, perfect
design and fine facilities. Ample space for the scientific
program, posters and the vendor exhibition make this an
ideal conference center for the HPLC Symposium.
Before or after the conference there
are many excellent choices for
conference attendees and their
guests to extend their visit in the
city or the nearby scenic areas.
